LawVedic provides a facility that detects your location. On the home page, go to Lawyers, and then select ‘Find a lawyer near you’. The page will give you options of lawyers by city, you can then apply a filter by kms.

LawVedic provides a platform integrating lawyers from their respective practice areas. All you have to do is go to the home page, select ‘Lawyers’, then select ‘Find a lawyer by practice area’. You may consult a lawyer by an array of options available on the website page dislayed.

In the top right corner of the home page, you will see your username. Select your profile and then click on ‘update profile’ from the drop down menu. A page to edit your profile information will be shown and from there you can edit your email id.

Lawyers’ information is enlisted in their respective profiles. You may choose the lawyers by practice area or by the location as per your need. You may even check the ratings and reviews by other consumers availing the services.

You may drop a message telling about the legal issues and the legal help that you want from the lawyer. You may even check the discussion forum to see if your query is already been taken up by other users. Sometimes it’s easy to know if you need an advocate. I am a Lawyers and my profile is listed on LawVedic without my consent. How do I remove my profile?

LawVedic has collected the information on the lawyers from the Bar Council of India and listed on the LawVedic portal. It is an open invitation for the lawyers to claim their listing or get themselves listed if they are not yet listed on the portal.

About the right to advertise lawyers within the ideals and ethics

The amendment to Rule 36, Section IV of the BCI rules allowed advocates the opportunity to advertise online. It permits the advocates to upload their names, addresses, phone numbers, e-mail IDs, enrolment details, qualifications, and area of practice on the selected website.
LawVedic aims to provide an opportunity through a lawyer search platform to secure justice to those who cannot afford a lawyer on their own – due to economic or social constraints or any kind of disability, are also entitled to the same quality of legal services as those who can.

How do I add my rating?

LawVedic gives you a provision to add a rating to the lawyer based on your experience. You may do so, by going to the lawyer’s profile, below the lawyer’s profile page, you will find ‘ Rate lawyer and Write a Review’. You have to log in or register with LawVedic to enable this feature.

As a lawyer, how can my profile be featured on the home page?

Through LawVedic, you can be featured on the home page by simply writing to us at info@lawvedic.com
However, you will have to first register with us, claim your profile and update your profile.

Where can I find the upcoming law events?

LawVedic provides a platform for young professionals and students to enlighten and explore themselves in the various fields of law through mediums like moot courts, seminars, conferences, etc. On the home page, go to Events and then select the type of event you wish to participate in. The page will direct you to the list of upcoming events. You may click any of the events of your wish and follow the process for registering yourself to the event.

How can I participate in the events listed?

Click on the event that you wish to participate in. There must be a link directing to the page where you would be able to register yourself for the event.

Can I delete the question I posted in the discussion forum?

No, you can not delete a question that you posted in the discussion forum. However, you may reply to the same question that you posted if you wish to make some corrections or if you wish to add to the question.

LawVedic gives an opportunity for all the users to participate in the discussion forum. You may participate by following the simple steps. On the home page, go to Legal advice. Then, click on discussion forum. Once the discussion forum page opens, you may choose the category in which you wish to answer or ask a question. Once you have selected the category, then click on ‘new topic’ to ask a question or click on reply to answer a question.

How can I keep my identity private while asking questions?

How do I claim my account?

No, you can not delete a question that you posted in the discussion forum. However, you may reply to the same question that you posted if you wish to make some corrections or if you wish to add to the question.

How do I edit my claimed profile?

After claiming your profile, LawVedic gives you access to your account. You may edit your profile by going on your dashboard and from there you may update your claimed profile.

How do I edit my unclaimed profile?

You can not edit an unclaimed profile. You must claim your profile first by registering with us. Our team will get back to you within 2 business days to verify your credentials. Once you get access to your account, you may edit and update its details.
